Hannah Svedlow, LPC
Founder | Psychotherapist
Hannah is passionate about working with children, adolescents and adults who are navigating issues related to depression, anxiety, trauma, and life transitions. Hannah's therapeutic practice incorporates play therapy, psychodynamic interventions and Internal Family Systems.
Hannah has a foundational belief that every person is capable of growth and change and she believes that a trusting and empathetic therapeutic relationship can serve as an impetus for that change. Hannah encourages her clients in using a curious and non-judgmental approach to explore ways that past events are impacting current functioning and utilizing that insight to create meaningful shifts. Hannah's clients often describe her therapeutic approach as collaborative, compassionate, playful and genuine.
Hannah understands the vulnerability it requires to reach out for help. She strives to co-create an environment where her clients feel comfortable, supported, and heard as they explore deeper internal work. Hannah believes that therapeutic goals should mirror the uniqueness of her clients, and her clients often see themselves deepening relationships, reducing feelings of distress, and gaining a better understanding of themselves.
In her free time, Hannah attempts to "walk the talk" of self care that she champions in session. Hannah values life's slower moments and is an avid reader, home cook, and Netflix binge watcher conniseur. She enjoys time well spent in the mountains by skiing in the winter and exploring new hikes in the summer.
